UK Border 2021: Update

Inquiry

Following an evidence session on 23 November 2020 to examine the UK Government’s final preparations for the end of the Brexit transition period on January 31 , the Committee will question  HMRC, Department for Transport, the Cabinet Office and Border Force on the new arrangements at the UK border, including border trade and customs arrangements, since the end of the transition period following the UK leaving the European Union

The Committee sent a series of follow up questions to Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary after the November 2020 evidence session and expects to receive a response before this update session.

If you have any direct evidence on how any of the UK’s border arrangements are working in the first weeks of 2021, please submit it here by 6:00 pm on Monday 18 January.
