Regulatory Divergence and the Windsor Framework

Inquiry

The Committee is conducting a new inquiry into regulatory divergence arising from EU and domestic legislation, in the context of the Windsor Framework. Regulatory divergence is the development of differences in the legal standards separately imposed by the European Union and the United Kingdom for the manufacturing, import, export and marketing of goods and services.  The Committee will be looking at the effects of regulatory divergence and the mechanisms in the Windsor Framework for manage these. It will also look at how divergence is logged and monitored across Government.
