Purpose of session

Sir John's report seeks to provide the Government with recommendations which will ensure the long term success of the life sciences sector. It states that if these recommendations are implemented, the strategy will 2emerge as a dynamic set of actions that will ensure the most desirable outcomes for the economy, industry and the NHS2.

The Committee asks Sir John how the strategy should be implemented and whether the goal of making the UK attractive to global life sciences investors can be achieved.
