Ministers questioned on school holiday poverty

The Work and Pensions and Education Committees hears from Lord Agnew, the Education Minister alongside Will Quince, Welfare Delivery Minister. The Committees will also hear from school, council and housing association representatives and the Welcome Network.

Purpose of the session
The session will examine the current funding model, barriers to accessing support and the Government's plans for extending the programme.
The inquiry
A joint session of Education and Work and Pensions will look at the issue of school holiday poverty and examine the effectiveness of the Government's Holiday Activities and Food Programme.
The Committees held a previous session with parents and charities in July.
