CDC's investments in low-income and fragile states examined

The Sub-Committee takes evidence from the CDC group, the Department for International Development (DFID) on the review's findings, whilst also questioning the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI) on their methodology and the Government's response to ICAI's report on CDC's investments in low-income and fragile states.

Purpose of the Session
Following the publication of ICAI's performance review looking at CDC Group's investments in low-income and fragile states, this session provides an opportunity for Members to examine the progress that CDC has made redirecting its investments to low-income and fragile states; and supporting the Department for International Development's economic development priorities.
