ICAI's review on DFID's approach to managing fiduciary risk in conflict-affected environments

Inquiry

The Sub-Committee questioned ICAI and DFID on the effectiveness of DFID’s fiduciary risk management system in conflict-affected environments. The Sub-Committee also examined how DFID identifies, mitigates and monitors fiduciary risks in difficult and rapidly changing situations, to ensure that UK aid money is used only for the benefit of the very poorest and is not misappropriated.
