Sub-Committee examines business in development and delivering impact

The International Development Committee's Sub-Committee on the Work of the Independent Commission for Aid Impact will meet for the first time this Parliament to consider the two outstanding reports from ICAI's phase one.

Purpose of the Session
This session will examine the outgoing ICAI Commissioners and DFID officials on Business in Development, looking at how well DFID engages with business to alleviate poverty, as well as on DFID's Approach to Delivering Impact, looking at how DFID maximises its development impact and ensures meaningful and sustainable impact for the poorest people.
