Treaty scrutiny is a crucial and developing area for Parliament as competencies are returned to the UK post-Brexit. This short inquiry will look at 'best practices' internationally for scrutinising treaties and treaty-making, including international trade negotiations, and make recommendations to Parliament and the Government about how this vital role should be carried out in the future.
