Chancellor and Brexit Secretary questioned on EU Withdrawal

In two sessions, the Chancellor and the Brexit Secretary are questioned by the European Scrutiny Committee as part of its inquiry into EU Withdrawal.
Draft Withdrawal Agreement update

The Committee will ask about the current negotiations, including the Joint Report (PDF 475KB) and the European Commission's Draft Withdrawal Agreement (PDF 1MB).
Brexit financial settlement
On Monday 5th March 2018 the Committee questioned the Rt Hon Philip Hammond, Chancellor of the Exchequer and Mark Bowman, DG International Finance at HM Treasury.
The session focused on the Brexit financial settlement, the policy implications for financial services and taxation of the Brexit transitional arrangement, and the future of trade in financial services between the UK and the EU.
