Committee hears from Steve Baker in inquiry examining Brexit negotiations

The European Scrutiny Committee continues its inquiry examining the conduct of negotiations on the UK's exit from the European Union on Wednesday 30 January, in a session featuring evidence from former Brexit Minister Steve Baker MP.
Purpose of the session
The Committee is undertaking its inquiry in order to examine the conduct, processes and outcomes of negotiations between the UK Government and the European Union regarding the UK's exit from the European Union.
Having heard from former Brexit Secretary David Davis MP in its first session, the Committee is expected to question Mr Baker on his time at the Department for Exiting the European Union, focusing on his involvement in the UK-EU negotiations and the framework under which negotiations have been conducted.
