Purpose of session
This is to inform the debate ahead of the referendum on EU membership that the Government has committed to holding by the end of 2017, following a renegotiation of the UK's terms of membership.
This will be a single-panel evidence session covering the Government's perspective on the inquiry. The witnesses include Rory Stewart MP, Parliamentary-Under Secretary of State, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and Lord Bourne of Aberystwyth, Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Department of Energy and Climate Change.
