The Environmental Audit Committee examines the progress made against recommendations of the Sustainability of the Department of Transport inquiry, based on work carried out by the National Audit Office which was commissioned by the Committee's predecessor Committee.

Focus of the session

Questions are expected to focus on decarbonisation in the transport sector, in particular what Government action has been taken since the VW emissions scandal, ultra-low emission vehicles, and targets for carbon reductions in the rail sector.
