Purpose of the session

First panel

The purpose of the first panel involves Regulation and Registration.

The aims are to determine the effectiveness of the current regulatory framework, to appraise forthcoming changes including registration requirements, to identify potential gaps in the Government's strategy and to gain an understanding of potential future regulation strategies for evolving drone technology.

Second panel

The aims of the second panel involve In-Built Safety Technologies.

To evaluate the state of current in-built drone safety features including effectiveness and prevalence and to learn about future possible safety features.
