Code of Conduct consultation

Inquiry

The Committee on Standards published its final reports proposing a new Code of Conduct, Guide to the Rules, and Procedural Protocol in summer 2022.

The Committee published its initial report (incorporating the Commissioner’s own review of the Code) with proposals for public consultation on 29 November 2021. The Committee also published a review of fairness and natural justice in the House’s standards system, by Sir Ernest Ryder, in March 2022.

This inquiry is no longer accepting evidence

The deadline for submissions was Thursday 10 February 2022.
