Williams-Shapps Plan for Rail: fare reform

Inquiry

The Committee conducted a short inquiry on the Williams-Shapps Plan for Rail paper focussing on rail fare reform. The inquiry examined the Government’s proposals for fare reforms and how the new system may benefit consumers.

The Committee published its findings in a long letter to the Minister on 5 November 2021. The Government's response was received on 13 December 2021.
