Likely areas of questioning

During this evidence session, which is the first of two considering this issue, the Committee is likely to explore the current technological developments of NETs, their proposed role in government strategies, and the contribution and challenge of Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS).

Evidence is being sought over two panels: the first of which will consider the wider role of NETs in reaching net zero; and the second to consider the role of BECCS technology.
