Foreign Affairs Committee continues inquiry into UK's counter-terrorism policy

The first panel discusses the factors informing recruitment and motivations behind the decision to join jihadist terror groups, with Aimen Dean, Co-Founder and Director of Operations at Cruickshank and Dean Global Intelligence giving evidence.

The Committee also explores how al-Qaeda has evolved in the face of two decades of Western counter-terrorism pressure and the emergence of Daesh. Questions are likely to also focus on online radicalisation and the use of proxies by states in the Middle East.
