MPs probe into the UK’s current and potential advantages for the expansion of these industries in the UK and what the Government could do to help businesses harness them.

The session also provides important context of the changing face of global competition as some nations lean into protectionism and global giants like the US and the EU are offering manufacturers high subsidies.

This will be the third session of the Committee’s Industrial policy inquiry.
