UK work against slavery – government response published

The government has welcomed a report on the UK’s approach to tackling modern slavery and accepted all the recommendations in the report.

The report was by Parliament’s International Development Sub-Committee on the work of the watchdog Independent Commission on Aid Impact (ICAI). The watchdog ICAI carries out reviews of the detail and effectiveness of UK aid programmes, while the Sub-Committee provides parliamentary oversight of ICAI’s work.
