Legislative Reform Orders
25 February 2020
One of the Committee's roles is to examine Legislative Reform Orders (LROs) laid under the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006
Within Government, the Better Regulation Executive (BRE) within the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) is responsible for co-ordinating LROs.
The Lords rulebook, The Companion to Standing Orders, sets out how LROs are scrutinised by Parliament, and the role of the Committee.
If any LROs are currently before Parliament they are listed in the House of Lords Business document. (Click on 'House of Lords Business document', then 'Legislative Reform Orders'.)
View chronological list of LROs already reported on by the Lords Delegated Powers and Regulatory Reform Committee.
