Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments membership agreed

The Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments has formally appointed members from the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The Committee will elect its Chair at its first meeting.
On 19 July the House of Lords appointed the following as members of the Committee:
- Baroness Bloomfield of Hinton Waldrist (Conservative)
- Lord Lexden (Conservative)
- Baroness Meacher (Crossbench)
- Lord Morris of Handsworth (Labour)
- Lord Rowe-Beddoe (Crossbench)
- Lord Rowlands (Labour)
- Baroness Scott of Needham Market (Liberal Democrat)
On 31 October the House of Commons appointed the following as members of the Committee:
- Dan Carden MP (Labour)
- Vicky Foxcroft MP (Labour)
- Patrick Grady MP (Scottish National Party)
- John Lamont MP (Conservative)
- Lee Rowley MP (Conservative)
- Sir Robert Syms MP (Conservative)
- Derek Twigg MP (Labour)
