Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments membership agreed

The Joint Committee on Statutory Instruments consists of members appointed by the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
At its first meeting on Wednesday 5 February, the Committee elected Jessica Morden as its Chair.
On 27 January the House of Commons appointed the following as members of the Committee:
- Jessica Morden (Labour) (Chair)
- Dr James Davies (Conservative)
- Eddie Hughes (Conservative)
- John Lamont (Conservative)
- Owen Thompson (Scottish National Party)
- Sir Robert Syms (Conservative)
- Liz Twist (Labour)
On 30 January the House of Lords appointed the following as members of the Committee:
- Lord Colgrain (Conservative)
- Lord Haskel (Labour)
- Lord Morris of Handsworth (Labour)
- Lord Rowe-Beddoe (Crossbench)
- Baroness Newlove (Conservative)
- Baroness Scott of Needham Market (Liberal Democrat)
- Lord Stirrup (Crossbench)
