Justice Committee to explore the work of the President of the Family Division

The Justice Committee hears from the Rt Hon Sir Andrew McFarlane, President of the Family Division, during a one-off evidence session on Tuesday, 23 April to discuss his work.

During the wide-ranging session, the cross-party Committee of MPs will explore areas, including: the current issues facing public and private law proceedings; the Government’s reforms to support separating parents; domestic abuse and the family courts, deprivation of liberty, plus transparency in the family courts.
Sir Andrew succeeded Sir James Munby as President of the Family Division and Head of Family Justice on 28 July 2018.
